100 mile point to point run from Richmond to Oxford
wow so apart from Hillheader (sort of) we pretty much all virgin 100 milers. wow epic.

i got a trail race tonight. of 4.9miles. eeeek. this is goin to burn.
Andy - I feel I am not even getting close to some of the distances that some of you guys are doing. I am building up slowly after an ankle injury so I'd rather go for consistency at this point and build up slowly.

Vixx your doin the best thing, by holdin yourself back. i know its not untill march but i`m just "makin hay while the sun shines" as they say.
i`m feelin recovered now from my walk. so am giong to try an blast this trail race tonight. eeeek.

Hillheader, sounds like you get about a bit, must help with adapting to all sorts of race day conditions.
Glad you had a great run Mr F - what type of back pack do you use? I've never really run with a pack before but I guess it's something I'll have to invest in soon. The most I've ever run with is one of those mesh swim type bags to bring my work clothes home in.

I enjoyed my race last night. It was quite hilly so a good mid week work out. I was 30 seconds quicker than last year, so I'm happy enough with that. It also rained, which is my favourite running weather, so all in all it was an enjoyable evening. Just swimming for me today, with an extended run to work and cycle home tomorrow.
