WiB, why don't you take your own advice and just go running? If you don't like discussion about running and the minutiae of it, I'd suggest you're wasting your time on a running forum.

I have a garmin 610 was thinking about the pretty colour 620 but no use for me being out 12h for a very slow plod.

Cannot decide if I don't do them often enough to worry, or if I should buy either a 900 series or fenix instead, or the cheapest one that covered a long time.

Ohhh I might have a solution buy my oh a fenix for Xmas and borrow it for ultras.
