I've just got my VLM place so ultras are now off the menu until next summer. I will be doing a couple next summer after VLM. Not sure which yet.....

I will squeeze in a couple of LDWA style off road marathons as trainng runs in the spring if my coach will let me

miss knees-Brockenhurst!!!

i love the newforest and we went for a holidqy in that very place,it was beautiful. we rented a cottage and my daughter adored it, there was a pony one morning in next doors garden eating apples off the tree , she thought it was the best part of her hols-lol

....she was only 4 at the time and thought the amount of horse poo everywhere was fascinating!! lol...

Doesn't look too bad Spen. This year so far I've done 8 marathons, 1 ultra, 2 halfs, 1 10miler, 1x10km and 4x5kms. Still got a few months to go......

thats it for HM for me too JB..i have a 10k which id already said id do in oct as its very local(by local runclub) and ladies only..its always fab and on Halloween so i like doing tht one. but after that it purely focus on ultras and my head just aiming for those...

am off to up&running on Sat to get new trainers and hopefully see the lady that works there as she is an ultra runner
