Triathlon eh... nto really for me but the Endurancelife XTri nearly got me to have a go at it. I don't swim fast enough really, and to be perfectly honest I have no wish to spend my days in the pool to practice it. I am happy being landbased for my races

There's room for triathlons and ultras if you ask me. I think it's good to mix the training up every so often.

Loula..you could also but some pink tassels on the end of the handle bars .on a serious note just had an excellent run,around part of the Dukeries Ultra route,set of at  a steady 8.40 pace,got to 4 mile and was feeling good and got carried away,and ended up doing 16 miles in just over 2 hours,with full hydration pack,managed 12 mile at sub 7.40.Not bad as i did a tempo run and a hard bike ride yesterday,and havent done any speed work for months.

ultrarocker..Thanks must be all the biking Ive been doing ,Loula...ouch ,is what i was thinking as i did  3 miles at more respectful 9 min mile this morning.will probably feel it more when out on the bike latter,or on my long run tomorrow

I've got a fair few in and am eyeing up some others at the moment.  Main 'challenging' events are Quadzilla (four marathons in four days) and London2Brighton.  Still thinking about doing The Wall.  How about you?
