My quads are still sore! Done a couple of 5 milers since but enjoying a well earned rest week.
Frenchy that was fantastic, other ultra organizers should take part in your series to see how it should be done. The whole day was great.
Sorry our paths never crossed T I'm certainly not fast sub 9 but sure we'll catch up soon. Lirish and my paths have crossed many times and we still haven't met. Might carry a banner at the SDW to grab his attention.
Should be pleased with my 9th place series finish but the fact that there was only 17 of us doesn't really give me bragging rights does it.
Will there be a 2012/2013 series?
*Dill* sub-9 is very fast by my standards. No real problems with tiredness or legs - just mashed feet. Haven't run since - even walking's been painful. Feeling a bit better today which is just as well because I have Cardiff ultra on Sunday.
Those mountains were spectacular and that run will stay in my memory for a long time.
Just to let you know that dates are confirmed for 2012/13 and entries our now open for The Welsh Ultra Running Series, details can be found here;
Autumn Newsletter which includes information on The Welsh Ultra Running Series and our new Trail Marathon series.
Just entered Black Mountains 33 so something to look forward to in March.
morning all, entry list for the Ultra Brecon 40 - Winter Edition has been updated and is on the site, last few places left for the Ultra.
Plenty for the Trail Marathon option, need 3 for a team, Forum team maybe?
hello, UB40 - Winter Edition now sold out, thanks for supporting our events. We have had a few emails through from individuals who have missed out so are doing the rounds, Race HQ / Event Insuranace etc. to see if it is viable to increase numbers, if we do it is likely to be by 20 or so, cheers
Hello, final newsletter for the Ultra Brecon 40 and Brecon Beacon Trail Marathon can be found here - http://eepurl.com/rmLS5
Not sure if anyone made the UB40 - Winter Edition last weekend?
Just to let you know that Round 1 for next year (March) is currently over 70% full, we are going to see what we can do to increase entry levels...
I'm in Frenchy; just a little birthday present to myself! What else would you want to do on your birthday?
Great, a great run, followed by a good meal, a few beers and chilled out Sunday would certainly work for me, see you in March
