I'm feeling left out
Hi Ultra NWO
Should find you have one now...
Hi, could I have a pirate please?
Here's my proof (from Bala middle distance last weekend)...
Now, i'll leave it for you to guess whether I actually raced the event or just stood by the shore making silly poses all day!
Hi same question - can you fix me up with a Piratey thingy please. I never knew I had to come to this part of the site to ask. Anyone for IMCH?
Thanks in advance.
After a dare from my Swedish father in law I entered the Swedish long course championships in Kalmar. Talk about half baked this left me 8 months to get in the pool which I havent done for years as well as do some running with the longest run in five years being about five miles!!! This stupidity of challenge was compounded by it being the final year of my Adult nursing degree, dissertation and placements kinda get in the way of anything that could be called consistant training.
when the day finally came all was good and I crossed the line in good shape after a very long day 13:30 which didn't set the tri world on fire. The Kalmar long course tri is a great event, cheap to enter and although small (600 entrants) super friendly and well supported by the locals
This year i'll be doing it all again heading out to Sweden for the race at the end of july and will be hopefully in pirates colours and plan to do Bala middle distance as a warm up, so see you all there.
Pirate icons all round - let me know if yours is still missing!
With regard to the Google Chrome smilies issue, it's something our tech team are working on...
Mine is missing Alice!
And I'm crying now!
Make my day and pop it on!
