Not ideal - but communication is always better than a stony silence.
Thanks for the update Ben. At least we now know that something is being done.
Ben, do we have an update on people not getting email notifications of posts on followed threads? From what I understand it doesn't affect everybody but I've had it since April.
You can have some of mine Andi!
Hi Andi, if you go into my settings forum settings you'll see you can tick to receive email notificiations for your followed threads, however, there is an issue with the followed threads currently which is also affecting the notifications.
Ben -'I've not been receiving emails notifications all day - and now - i've just received 15 in one go.
Also - writing a reply on the ipad still crashes safari or results in me not being able to finish a reply... oh and the spell check still isnt working.
Still have issues with Chrome and the spell checker app My spelling needs correction all the time its just not fair....or is it fare...or fayre who knows I cant check
spell checker and edit and quote still not working or is it just me
Haven't checked spell checker or quote, but edit still not working. Can't believe that it takes so long to sort things out. We're still getting spam from time to time, although it is usually quickly removed during week days.
Looks like we have to do the good old days of copying and pasting the bit you want to quote, then putting some " around them
Actually what annoyed me about the old system was that if you kept quoting but not pasting it would end up remembering heaps of quotes so that when you hit paste youd sometimes get 3 different quotes pasted, even if they had no relevance to each other.
Maybe the person responsible for the smooth running of this site should try a different career that they are more suited to. Like sweeping the streets or shovelling.....
Still issues on iPad
When trying to ad a reply to the. Treads. It will only allow a certain amount or none at all.
LOL'z at the Sussex runner.
Thinking of stopping trying to make sense of this site anymore.
Too many gitches and sod all seems to be done about them.
Still no links to events, unable to add reviews to events, can't read previous reviews.
Cmon Spike, perserverance is the key. Think of it like running. Sure the going is tough at times but the end result is worth it.
you mean this one?
I think the depressed face is
I think is one of the faces with which the forum looks collectively at Ben.
