When I use Chrome as a browser, the smilies won't load and the 'quote' function doesn't work?

Is it just me?

< b > makes bold and < / b > makes, um, unbold.

*edit - but without the spaces!*

How do I do that final smiley Intermanaut?

I think it's this: which is a colon, then a lowercase "o".
