Just gone into My Forum - Forum Notifications and have found 2 threads listed in it 3 times and 1 listed in it twice.
Has anyone else got this problem?

It's not the emails that's the issue for me but it's the listing in my forum list. If I delete one of the 20 it deletes all of them so won't get any notification now.

Kazzaaaaah!,
That's exactly the same thing as I've had. I thought I would delete it from the list and all instances of the thread have disappered.
Suppose it makes a change from receiving no notifications then getting a shed load all at once.

Aha - not only me then. Think the number of each thread listed increases by 1 every time you add another post to that thread.
Don't want to delete though, just in case I lose threads completely!

Daz,
You will do if you delete!
It's most probably going to be an error on that particular page. I don't know java script however parts of it look similar to html so I wouldn't be surprised if the problem is in the line of code which starts with <h3>Forum Notifications</h3> (approx 3/4 way down the page)

There was a problem with the forum notification code that was indeed adding people who didn't want to be added and adding you if you had already been added. This was resolved and I've now managed to remove almost all of those duplicates for you.
I hope this helps you guys (I'll try and get the javascript problem sorted today too)

Tappy,
The problem is still there. Just posted on 2 different threads, one in the training section and one in the events section and how have both threads appear twice. The same thing for this thread as well.

Actually Meldy, I'm disapointed to say it wasn't. The situation had been helped, however I think I have now got it working as it should be. Including the javascript problem that was a problem before.

Hi I Will Do It,
They seem to be working for me at the moment, but I'll have a word with our tech team on Monday and see if they can look into it.

Sometimes the messages do get backlogged and they come through in one go, but that doesn't happen all that often, and if it's working for other people then that's not the problem.
