Dear RW, lets have a "Report Member" button

So that you can be alerted to all these annoying spammers and thread post copiers.

It'll then be up to you to decide on whether they stay or go.

Mind you, someone would have to acutally take notice of the reported member and then do something about it...

How different is that than the 'Report Thread' button

It still relies on someone being on the other end to do something about it and at silly o'clock in the morning that is not going to happen

We sometimes don't want the Thread canned just the comments from idiot newly created members.

Doesn't matter when they are deleted, when they go so will their posts.

I think the Report Member button is a good idea, should have been thought of ages ago

Reporting the thread to alert a spammer doesnt get the thread canned it draws attention to whatever the issue is .... I cant see that it would be any different IMO

RW normally look at the poster's comments anyhow, not just the thread.

I doubt that, what evidence is there to show that happens.

RW don't respond to anything much, if you want to attract their attention you have to email them. The so called web people have disabled their Message Member facility.

We'd love you to add a comment! Please login or take half a minute to register as a free member
