Unsuitable pictures

I'm paranoid!

OK - with great difficulty - over 2 days - I eventually managed to get this thing to 'upload' my picture - at the 3rd attempt - and got a notification saying something like 'my picture would be screened for "suitable content" and then would become 'live''

It hasn't.

This now makes me feel very inferior - I know I'd never get on the cover of RW - and knew I could never be called 'glam' - but ....when you've allowed in pictures of a bears' sore backside but won't allow mine in......I can't help but start getting a bit paranoid!

Should I go for a run this afternoon with a paper bag over my head ?

hey shattered - I'm sorry, I meant to email you to say that the image is still giving us an error message. Can you email it - or the original image file - to me at support@runnersworld.co.uk and we'll have a look at it.

I'm leaving at 2 today (moving house!) so don't be hurt if it still doesn't go up immediately

soothing thoughts

Ah Sean, thanks for the soothing thoughts - I carried them with me in my paper bag this afternoon - gee it gets hot in those things!
Will e-mail piccy on - hope the house move goes OK, don't envy you that at all

Oh how things change over time.

Just to show that RW towers IT personnel can be kind, thoughtful, helpful......

Yep, but although there were some soothing thoughts up for grabs, there was no offer of buttering any parsnips....

23/07/2013 at 13:50

I bet Sean would have buttered people's parsnips had he been asked - with Waitrose organic butter too, not that cheap Aldi stuff

how funny that the tbread ben created has now gone down too.

It's only page three that fails - which is odd

Did the race organiser make the comedy spelling error too?!

That was not an error, Pudge!

Fishpoo aka Pishfool...

no error - it's what he was known as.

Ah - I see.  Thanks for enlightening me!

s'ok Pudge - some of us have been around this forum since 2002 so know Pishfool and his successor Benson Boy. in those days they were friends of the forum and not the anti-christs that the current RW crop seem to be.

but they were different times then - more inclusive than exclusive and a damn sight more fun.   we didn't have Facebook or Twitter to distract......
