ASICS Target 26.2: First Timer

First Timer - Steve

Strengths: "I’m a very positive person – for me, the running drink is always half full. I’m also extremely determined and have a huge desire to succeed - I’ve just completed a first class honours degree in Law around my full-time job... so on to the next challenge!"

Weaknesses: " I’ll admit to not being the most organised of people so I have never followed a structured plan when training. But my main weakness is nutrition – I have always believed lager and grease to be two of the major food groups."

"I think I’m still in shock, from making the final five! I’m a little bit scared to pinch myself in case I wake up... I feel honoured to have made it so far and I’m determined to enjoy every second of it. I’ve already met so many lovely people along the way and I can’t thank everyone who voted for me enough. I’ve also realised how much I have to learn about running and, from that point of view, it has been quite a humbling experience. I'm determined to take as much away from this as I can and I know that it will transform my running forever."
