Really? This article missed out the two biggest GPS running apps - RunKeeper (which I used to use then gave up on after they stopped testing on iPhone 3G!), and Runmeter, which is now my go-to running app for all my training runs and races, and integrates with dailymile.com.

Certainly either of these two would be more interesting to runners than yoga or calorie counting apps? It's not like there's a lack of running apps out there, so I'd have thought a comparison of features across them would've been the point of this article!

I love the fact that there are so many wonderful applications for smartphones available at the moment. It makes your training so easier! One app is calculating your distance, another one your heart rate and so on. It's so comfortable! Thanks for the post by the way.
