In short: My third run here and its a great race.
In full: Thanks to the organisers and the marshalls. A very well supported race mile 3-4 is a bit tricky with more mud than I remember, but still a fantastic race with a challenging finish.

In short: Great organisation, great signs, roads closed - MASSIVE PB
In full: This lived up to expectation. Great to have the roads closed. Knowing how much this costs - I am very grateful, made a big difference. Thanks to all the marshalls for their time, it is appreciated. Huge PB, seemed more downhill than up, and great way to finish :-)

In short: Well organised race, friendly, and GREAT cake :-)
In full: Thanks to Gloucester AC and all who marshalled in the rain today. Undulating course and good scenery but head wind in second half made it a bit harder. However I loved it, but then I had a great race and massive PB. Tea and cake at the end, hit the spot, and mug momento was a great extra touch - Thank you :-)

In short: Good organisation, good course, more water and shirts needed.
In full: My second half marathon and a PB so I can't really complain. 2 water stops was known about, so I brought my own. Which meant I did not stop at 11 which was good as I'm not sure my legs would have started again. However, could have had 1 more stop around 8 miles.

As for those who complain about price/goodie bag, have a thought as to how much goes to charity, road closures, traffic management, chip timing etc

As for the shirts though, something could have gone on the entry form to request one so that stocks could have been better.

A good course, inclines were steady, and of course the downhills were welcome. Industial estate not great, but understandable to tag on extra distance. A bit disconcerting seeing people ahead coming out just as you are going in - a dent in morale.

Crowds were welcome near the end to help you through the last couple of miles. Though the comment from one marshall saying its only 400m to go, when its at least twice that, not a good idea when you are desperate for the finish.

All in all, a good race, thanks to Stroud AC and all the marshalls.

In short: managed to smile for the photographer on the final hill - says it all
In full: Great race, will be back again for sure. Hill start and hill at the end. But those down hill bits were very welcome. Well organised and even my Garmin tallied for once. Well done to organisers and all others who took part
