In short: really good run, done it two years now, would do again
In full: it was really wet and muddy in 2012 which caused many problems, a great first try at an ultra for anyone. Good mix of course trail and raod, fantasic scenery, excellent support, and running at night following glow sticks is excellent, just need to convince the wife to let me do it again in 2013

In short: 16.5 hours of fun
In full: This was my first ultra after only doing two marathons, the atmosphere and support from all of the other runners was fantastic. The organisers & marshalls did a brilliant job with everything to hand at the end of the 10 mile laps which had plenty of changes in scenery and running surface. bring on next year subject to family holidays not getting in the way.
