In short: Unique setting for a challenging run In full: The first race I had run for about 4 months - knew what to expect as I had measured the course. The unseasonably hot weather turned out to be a bonus and the grass car park, the longish walk and the delayed start were not really a problem - different story if it had been raining! However, two drinks stations on the course would have been better in view of the hot conditions. Certainly hope this event will become a regular fixture - the Forestry Commission are to set this out as a permanent route and I am sure the race organisers will have learned some lessons from the day.
