In short: Tough - but one of the best in the South West. Some killer hills.

In short: Attractive seaside setting, run long a generally flat coastal path, with some great views. A fast course, well organised.
In full: Attractive seaside setting, run long a generally flat coastal path, with some great views. A fast course, well organised. A course with PB potential if your in the right shape. Comes just at the right time for London Marathon training. Chip-timed, good tee-shirt. Well worth it. Will do agin.

In short: A growing race, fast, mixed scenery with Big Stadium Finish. Good City Marathon.
In full: Ran the marathon and a larger turnout and greater buzz compared to the previous years. As a faster runner was able to get away quickly at the start and enjoyed running with the HM for the first lap, could get lonely on the 2nd lap (a bit like a training run, so got to keep yourself motivated). Fast flat course, over a mixed course, a slightly snake-like run through the parks. Lots of water and LS stations and the stadium finish make it a hit. Understand congestion issues for some though but suppose comes with the terrority for a big race like this. Catering at Mill Stad could have been opened.

In short: Truely inspirational and landmark race, with wonderful support. Only blott on this beautiful landscape, arrangements at the Green Start due to the organisers wish to pander to the 'celeb -non runners', causing hold-ups, falls and delays of 1 minute o

In short: An excellent race, good course, fantastic organisation, great support, goody bag and new PB.
In full: One of my favourite half marathons. A large field of runners, a great start and finish, very well organised, an imaginative goody bag, gopod runners recuperation area. Not an easy course, but not one of the more difficult (for Devon in any instance). you can get a PB here, got a 1:26 in 2004 and a 1:22 in 2005. Good fast downhill bits, mostly flattish with a few climbs. Save something though for the climb at mile 12 up the Citadel.
