In short: Good fun in the pouring rain. Apart from the "lost" entries it was well organised

In short: Enjoyable race in nice surroundings
In full: The fact I came back for a second time is because not only is it local but its a good size, the people running it are friendly and the course is challenging without being too bad. Improved by a minute on last year so happy enough. As others have said though the lap of the playing field has to be at the end when we are spread out. Having it at the start is just asking for trouble/injury.

In short: Good conditions and very well organised. PB potential if you can negotiate the crowds in the first couple of miles

In short: Slick organisation and PB potential make this a good race
In full: You wouldn't travel for the scenery but this is always very well run and has definite PB potential (as I found out at the 3rd time of asking).

In short: Breezy but good fun. Seemed to be mainly club runners but I didn't feel left out. PB made it a good trip!
In full: Well organised and very cheery marshalls made this a good morning out. Less wind would of been good but it is November after all!

In short: I still have the warm glow 5 days later!
In full: An excellent race. I can only echo what the others have said about the lovely people, amazing route, surprising weather. If you only do 1 marathon in the UK do this one!

In short: Small but perfectly formed!
In full: Nice quiet run. Small field but lots of water stations and good mix of ability. Hotter than I bargained for but even though the hills were definitely steeper the second time around I do it again.

In short: Very well organized for a first running and cheerful marshalls always help. Breeze and slight undulations meant no PB but I will be back next year.

In short: Lovely run with excellent organisation in picturesque surroundings. Hills were not too bad but testing enough and the downhilll made up for it.
