In short: Top notch race
In full: Echo what everybody else has said. Superb organisation, fast flat course, fantastic marshalls. Can see why you have to get your entry in quick. Not sure what happens if you miss the 2:45 cut-off though. (Just got in under that. Phew!!!!). The racecourse is a good venue as well, especially with the race headquarters in the new stand.

In short: Shame the chippie in Stamford wasn't open. Otherwise good friendly race. Nice touch of having some runners race the course the wrong way to check and provide encouragement for the stragglers.
