In short: Another excellent year to celebrate the Crossdale 10k's 10year anniverary
In full: Tough as always but lovely weather and a great atmosphere made it worth while. A few delays at the start whilst the marshalls got to the half way point and a few people went right at the end instead of straight on (maybe worth taping it off next year) but a great local event on a tough course. The last 2k are hard work

In short: Fast flat course with a strong field
In full: Course is 2 big laps after a small loop at the start. Mainly flat with a few minor undulations and twists but nothing really.

3 water stations (1 passed 3 times) at 1.5, 5 and 9m

Field quick so can help drag you on to a pb.

Mentally hard work though around the rowing lake - it never seems to get any nearer!

Thanks to the organisers.

In short: Direction to the start were poor which was the big complaint by quite a few. The marshalls on the coarse were great however and did their best to keep the busy road clear
In full: 3 lap course with one big climb per lap. The heavy rain and strong winds made it hard work.

As mentioned above - the directions to the start really do need improving. Even once in the Uni there were no directions to the car parks or start line. No directions to showers / changing after either. Even got told to keep quiet as students were working which I found a bit odd at the end of a race!

Mashalls on the course did a great job trying to keep the road free but its a thanksless job, not helped by the county fair which happened to be on the same day!

Not sure if I'll be back. It fitted in with training for Paris but 60miles is a long way to travel for what was OK but nothing special.

Thanks again to the marshalls and support.

In short: This has go to be one of the flattest courses in the country. Flat as a pancake and no wind. Excellent organisation, good t-shirt and a pb. Very happy
In full: The route is not traffic free and the only minor complaint was the van driver who decided that he had to put his foot down when passing all the runners. Not the organisers falt though!

In short: Tough, hill course but very much enjoyable. Very well organised & supported. Shame about the poor goody bag at the end.

In short: Fast flat course perfect weather
In full: I entered it as I knew I was running well and wanted to go for a pb and got one by over a minute.

The weather was perfect - sun starting to break through with no wind. Course was very flat but did get a bit narrow at times and twisty towards the end. Finishing on a muddy field perhaps could be avoided in future?

Only grumble was the MP3 player rule. I looked on the entry form and nothering was mentioned so I asked a marshall before I put my bag away if it was OK to run with one on and was told it was OK. On the start line 2 minutes before the start I was told I'd be disqualified if I wore it - by this time it was too late to do anything with it! Perhaps this could be a clearer in future!

All in all though it was a good race and if you're looing for a fast time this one is one to do.

In short: Expensive with a poor goody bag but I always come back for more.
In full: Perfect weather with great support and good organisation. The course was similar to last year - only one small change in the university grounds. There are some tough hills in the first half but the course is better this way round. Very well marshalled and supported.
A few slight downsides were the entry cost - very expensive with a poor goody bag and no t-shirt. The medal this year was worse than previous years - looks a bit cheap and tacky!
I'll be back as its my local race and I've done it 5 years on the trot now. Thanks

In short: An excellent 10k race. Low key but good atmosphere and very well organised. Weather was loverly as well.
In full: The course is mainly offroad over field and trails with some tough hills. T-shirt was better than previous years but the prize list could have been better - maybe some trophies? We won the team prize and one £25 voucher is difficult to split between a team of 4! Thats the only slight complaint though and I'll probably be back. Thanks to all.

In short: Fast course with definate PB potential if you're running well
In full: A flat 1st 9m with a 1/2m climb at 9.5m and a steady incline at 11m. The wind made it difficult this year but plently of sponge and water stations and great support at the start and finish. Didn't help me though - I had a shocker!
