In short: The atmosphere makes it worth doing even if the weather is bad In full: The price might seem a little steep for a mere 10k, but you can definitely see where your cash goes. Superb organisation. An MC who kept everyone motivated through the ten minute delay at the start (to wait for stragglers to hand in their bags etc); Changing and bag storage facilities, refreshments, medals at the end, energy milkshakes and water at the finish line, a more than ample quantity of cheerful and diligent stewards who offered encouragement all the way round. This is clearly a popular run as around 1000 people did it today, not a bad turn out for a twice-yearly 10k. I will definitely be making it a regular feature in my racing calendar from now on.
