In short: The views at the top of the first hill were worth it, even if I couldn't run all the way up it.
In full: A big improvement on the views from last year, only wished I was as fit as last year. Jaffa cakes and bananas at the water stations was a nice touch and a nice medal. Just why is it always windy running back along the A20. Hope there are more runners next year. Great marathon training run.

In short: Great mashalls, finishes and toilets need sorting.
In full: The loo and baggage queues ment a lot of runners starting the race late. Lucky I did have to hand in baggage as the toilet queue was bad enough. A great big thank you to all the mashalls, the weather was horrible to run in let along stand there like you did. The medal was nicer as that is what a lot of first time runner want more and this is a begineers friendly marathon. Just move the removal of chips further back and that should help the finishing problems. Another problem at the finish is runners trying to open the space blankets. Hopefully we will get better weather next year. See you then.

In short: Nice cheep evening race. Slower runner/walkers were made welcome.
In full: I help to pace my friend Tweety round this course. Marshalls were very supportive. We was the slowest run/walkers and had our own first aids following us on their bikes. They were very friendly. Big thank you for making my friends race very enjoyable. See you next year.

In short: Lovel race couldn't keep the smile of my face. One of my all time favourite races
In full: This was my 4th race back in 2005, loved it then. Love it even more this year, this undulations were not as bad as I remember then. I recommended this race to a group of my friends and they all did it this year and love it too. Thank you to all the lovely marshalls.

In short: Great supportive marshalls.
In full: Bigg thank you to the lovely marshalls. Need more toilets. The goodie bags need to have the same items in all of them. Where was my Kit Kat and banana? It was my friends first half and he was disappointed in not getting a medal. Please bring back the medals. Have too many tshirts anyway.

In short: Lovel the new course and the towel was brilliant idea.
In full: Marshalls were fantastic. Loved the course, less crowded except for the loose horse with no ride. That did make it interesting for a moment. I will be back next year and every year that I can make it.

In short: Beachy Rocks. Lovely scenery.
In full: My 3rd Beachy and it does not get any easier. My hubby left my running cap on the bench by the forest last year. This year the marshall gave it back to him. Well done to Nicola and her crew. I will be back next year to try and get a sub 6hrs.

In short: They need to get the distance measured properly and look after runners that pulll out of race.
In full: Not impressed with with marshalls and being dropped of 2.5 miles from finished after pulling out of this race. I phoned Parents fo Children the next day. They were meant to ring me back that afternoon and I am still awaiting that phone call.

In short: It is so nice to have a local marathon, even if it starts outside London. When they said flat they meant it
In full: This marathon is definately a pb course. They said it would be flat at is really is that.

Bottle drink are really nice. The Hi5 ran out for my friend. So please if you advertise energy drinks please make sure you have enough of them. Thou a lovely marshall ran after us and gave my friend some make up in a plastic bottle.

I am so glad that I run with a friend, especially as we got close to London and the council flat. I would have felt unsafe on my own. I did not like the loop round the pitches at the end, but if that is the only way to make up the miles so be it.

A big thank you for giving us a new marathon.
