In short: Horrible weather conditions
In full: I started near the back to run slowly with a mate for the first mile but then found it impossible to pick my way through all the back-markers. I've never seen so many people walking, even within the first couple of miles. I would say this is a brilliant race for beginners but slightly less so for others.

In full: Nice flat course up until 8 miles and the worst hill I have ever known in a run! Still ran a good time though.
