In short: Fantastic
In full: Loved it, have watched it on TV every year and have always wanted to give it a go, boy am I glad I did. Running over Tower Bridge is just amazing. You cant put into words the buzz that it gives you taking part.
Hips were playing up at 14 miles but support from the fantastic crowd just keeps you going.
Organazation is awesome thank you to everyone that helps in making the event what it is.

In short: Top race and a pb as well
In full: Had no problems with the buses before or after the event. Nice course apart from the hill. Plenty of water and Lucozade as you ran round. Really enjoyed the day.

In short: Tough race
In full: A map in the pack would have been nice and made it easier to find. Once we got there though everything was ok route is a bit boring running round housing estates. Thought the course was tough lots of twists and turns. Marshalls on the run very good and friendly and nice finish on the running track. Might go back next year now I know where it is but a more scienic route would be nice. Very good value for money with family pass to David Lloyd and a T shirt.

In short: Hard but loved it.
In full: 1st time I had done the race. You must do it at least once. Took 30 mins to cross the start line and I was at 11 mins a mile pace. If people intend to walk why do they go as near to the front as they can get it doesnt make any difference to their time. Weather was very hot felt sorry for the people in fancy dress. Speccies were great with the water, oranges, ice pops etc. Was great to see the water at South Shields as you come down the hill. Long last mile but excellent goody bag with lovely medal.
Sorry to here about the four people that died thoughts are with your families and friends.

In short: Very enjoyable
In full: Was my first 10k really enjoyed it, everyone was friendly, marshalls did a very good job. They also wanted feedback from the runners on ways to improve things for next year as this was the first running of the race. Would do it again next year.
