In short: Well done Brighton - a fantastic marathon with wonderful support.
In full: Brighton should be proud at having created such a fantastic marathon with such wonderful support. Being the inaugural race I feel they did an excellent job at putting on an organised and friendly race. Ok, perhaps the infamous "road to hell" might need to be looked at a little but all marathons have their "drab, souless sections", but it's just a shame Brightons came at a very difficult part of the race.

Much prefer this to London: prefer the course, less runners (not jammed in like sardines for 20 miles!), pleasant sea air, and amazing support. If you're a first timer I'd highly recommend it. Definately worth the money and I'd much rather spend a weekend in Brighton than London! Family loved it too. If Brighton gets the go ahead to make this an annual event then do it!

In short: Beautiful race, great support, a little tough in places.
In full: Really enjoyed the race and fantastic support from the locals throughout. A little tough in places but well worth it as the woods were beautiful. A special thumbs up for the hospice ladies and their cakes!!
