In short: hilly, challenging course. A mix of trail/tracks and road, a decent course with some lovely scenic parts.
In full: Very well organised, plentiful encouraging marshals and a tough enough course to make this a decent workout. The second uphill is steep - some energy needs to be kept in reserve! A really lovely race, and one I would return to.

In short: round the reservoir on a sunny Sunday morning - what's not to like?
In full: A superbly organised race. Rather congested at the start, but nothing could be done about that, it soon thinned out. Lovely route, plentiful undulations, and great marshals. My second time, and will be back. Traffic free, which made it a pleasure. The section around the reservoir was really lovely.

In short: lovely friendly race
In full: A really nice route, bit of everything - road, fields, woods and of course moor. Nothing too steep, and a great fast couple of miles at the end. A really scenic route, and very well organised. Would recommend to all, including those not so experienced off road.

In short: Have done this twice now, always good weather for running! Lovely course. Only complaint is no toilets on a 20 mile route. Friendly marshals, otherwise great organisation. Fast and flat.

In short: one of best trail races I've done
In full: what a fantastic race this was, although very tough in part, some really good downhills to make up for it. A really hard slog uphill for the last mile, but a wonderful downhill stretch through woodland immediately preceding it. Lovely friendly marshalls all with words of encouragement. Stunning scenery, especially the sight of Harewood House in the distance as we ran through the fields. A great family day out also.

In full: will definately do this again next year if it's staged again. A fantastic race, mix of stony forest trails, paths and fields, with only a couple of very short road sections. Quite hilly - seemed to always be going up or down, and I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. Organisation and marshalling were faultless. Enjoyed this so much more than a half on the roads.

In short: flat, out and back course, great PB potential on a windless day. Hard work running into the wind on the way back today! Marshalls superb - all had words of support.

In short: fantastic organisation, great route with killer hills, friendliest marshalls I have seen - will definately return next year. The river crossing at the finish made this different!

In short: great in good weather
In full: really enjoyed this race - definately not a PB course, but lovely scenery. Slow start due to congestion, and had to queue at bottlenecks, but will definately be back next year.
