In short: Merry Christmas
In full: The Reindeer 10k simply the best Knowsley is a fantastic setting with a traffic free course thats takes in the safari park and the grounds of Lord Derby estate For a change the weather was good(ok a bit windy in parts) but a great race run with a really friendly bunch of runners all of whom entered into the spirit and wore both antlers and flashing noses. All in a good cause roll on next year
Plus a free trip through the safari park as well

In short: First time so improvements can be made
In full: Cons
Traffic Management poor in places
Laps of Sefton Park boring
Cost on the steep side & poor goody bag
Delayed start becuase of TM problems
Pros
Great atmosphere for big city run
Course good in parts
Plenty of water stations

For a first event this was good lots of issues that need working on especially TM plan that caused 45min delay and saw vehicles on the course in some places
Also price on the steep side but races are getting more expensive Overall 6 out of 10 but could do better if they learn from the issues this year

In short: The best around
In full: Love this race and 12th today. Ran it with a friend from the States and for a change ran with my head up and not worrying about a time.Saw more this than I ever have before yes the numbers are large but you know what to expect so no moans from me.
This event is special and has the best atomosphere around made all the more special by the Red Arrows tribute to their fallen colleague.
The only down side to this event is the expo which is a complete waste of time and needs a full overhaul.
Will I be back next year? Yes love this race and the 54,000 friends I run with :)

In short: Best Bargin on Merseyside
In full: A nice way to start Easter. A good course that offers the chance of a PB. A good mix of abilities makes this a friendly race plus the chance to run of the Mersey on a sunny day lead to some great views.
At only £10 brilliant value. T shirt and all the toast and hot cross buns you could eat and free transport back to the start clearly the goody bag came from Runliverpool and toilet paper and tissues isn't a winner with me
Will be back next year more of the same weather wise please.

In full: Got to say despite the weather and a PW still love this event the organisation is great whilst the banter and spirit cannot be beaten. Crowds were excellent and helped get me over my lows.
