In short: flooded fields, flooded rivers, flooded muddy lanes In full: After raining for three days prior to event I did wonder should I have worn my armbands!!The mud was glorious very good for the skin apparently. A big thank you to all the friendly patient marshalls who manned the course and offered a hand over slippery styles..well organised friendly race great fun and would do it again. Stunning scenery especially from the last hill could see the finish!!!! Date of review: March 1, 2007

In short: the essence of running, hard work but huge reward! In full: what an occasion, the best fun you'll ever have doing what you love best, mud sweat and tears hills of hell held back for the near end when your legs are burning and a big thank you to the generous guy who let me hold the back of his tee shirt up the last slope....and the showers well!!!!
