In short: A real challenge, but worth the effort In full: This run never fails to inspire, but also never gets any easier! The first 5m is a tough welcome to anyone that hasn't run it before, but the second half can be exhillerating. The Marshalling is excellent and the public support all the way round is fantastic. If there is a point to consider for the future, it's the continued 'messy' finishing area. There are Goody Bags only for the first runners home and there is a free tea tent, which is much needed, as long as you know it's there. There are no noticeable signs, at least , none I could see. Even for that, Hastings is a great run. Well done to the organisers. Date of review: March 21, 2010

In short: Lovely route through the dockyard and along the riverside. Lots of Marshals. Only thing missing was a hot drinks stall. I do like my tea after a run!! Date of review: June 21, 2009

In short: Very enjoyable run. The only comment I would make was that two laps around the field at the start amde for a congested first half mile. It might be worth looking at putting the double lap at the end, where the runners are more spread out. Date of review: April 10, 2006
