In short: A good race bit organisation could have been better
In full: I had a great day and despite the heat I PB'd. Although I was 3:41 even I noticed that whislt passing that water stations were looking low. I did take a couple of bottles at some of the water stations but that was only as I was expecting the usual 500ml size not the small 250ml size so I took 2 to replicate what you get at London. Also, even though I had water at all stations there definitely weren't enough water or Lucozade stations. the worst bit was 16-21 where there really should have been more stations. At the start of the race we kept getting told over the PA how important it was to ensure we drunk enough - just a pity there wasnt enough to go round.

In short: another great Leciester half
In full: I did this race last year for the first time and enjoyed it so came back this year. I htought the routew improvements this year were great - it was a much nicer route through the country park. that wind at the turning point was a bit strong and sapped the energy. Marshalls were excellent - especially the guys in the underpass near the end - very enthusiastice. Was much better having city centre closed to traffic to. I was also impressed that water and isotonic drinks at all water stations and aslo impressed by how many water stations there were and how well manned they were. I will definitely be back next year. thanks to the orgainisers for another great race and taking on the comments from last years race. We also got a medal too for the half this year! that last mile is a killer though - but enjoyable to in a mad sort of way!

In short: Another fantatic Coastal Run
In full: Didnt think I could enjoy this race anymore than I did last year but had an even better run today. Loved it from start to finish. Ideal running conditions and the atmosphere once again fantastic. Loved the finish on the beach with the crowds cheeirng you on - was very uplifting to see lots of people at the finish as you came round that last bend on the beach. Excellent and friendly marshalls and just the right amount of drinks stations which were very well placed. Definitely a great idea to have the Craster kissing gate removed for the day as it meant no bottleneck - maybe the one at Dunstanburgh Castle could be removed too??? Love the technical T shirt too (especially liking the colour)Our club made a weekend trip of it and we all had a fantastic time. The race has even converted some road runners to the joys of off road running. This remains my favourite all time race and I will definitely be back next year.

Only room for improvement is that there could fo with being a few more portaloos at the start as the queues were very long.

In short: A great introduction to 20 mile racing!
In full: quite surprised to find that I really enjoyed this race and amazed that given the undulations (hills?) I managed such a good time and felt good at the end. I didn't have a prblem with the traffic - didn't really notice it. A very well organised race and very friendly/encouraging marshalls. The Mars Bars at the 12mile water stop wewre particularly appreciated. I like the 3 lap course- it somehow made the distance seem less daunting. I now feel much more confident for FLM after completing this race.

In short: An excellent race and a new PB
In full: Really enjoyed yesterday. New PB by over two mins despite the wind which seemed to be head or a cross wind almost all the way! Very well orgainised, great marshalling and measuring spot on. Enjoyed the lovely large cuppa at the end in the refreshments area. Great post race facilities and only a very hsort queu for the ladies. A great sweat short too. A very good value for money race as well as being good fun. Hope I get a place next year.

In short: A tough course
In full: This was my second go at GF. I enjoyed last years more but that was due to not being 100% well today. Once again excellent organisation, fab goody bag and the free massage in the town hall afterwards was just the job...and a new PB too. all in a ll a great race and I will certainly be back next year

In short: A fab race - despite the killer hills
In full: Did this race for the first time yesterday. It was a gorgeous day for running. Well organised, great scenery, good mix of terrain. Depsite the killer hill at the last mile I really enjoyed this race. It was a good to be alive sort of run. Will def be back next year.

In short: Another excellent GNR
In full: this was my third GNR. starting pens worked much better this year. I managed to cross start line within 30 secs of gun and other than first half maile managed to run at my set pace without having to dodge anyone. I managed a PB by 10 mins. the Red Arrows display at the end was fab. If only there wasn't an incline at 10-11 miles! Last 2 miles legs very tired but crowd carried you along. Can't wait for next year.

In short: Now firmly established as my favourite race
In full: Ran the Northumberland Coastal Run yesterday for the first time. What a fantastic course. Amazing scenery - made you glad to be alive running along this gorgeous stretch of coast.

A challenging course with just about every sort of terrain you could want - beach, track, filed, boulders (!) and s small road section. Ideal weather yesterday too.

Only negative was the wait to go through the stile at Craster - maybe organisers need to see if that could be temporarily removed for the day?

I can't wait for next years race.

In short: Excellent race. I will definitely be back next year.
In full: Excellent scenery. Loved the mix of road, track & field section. Home made cakes at the end were fab. Only gripe was same as others - huge queues for the loos!
