In short: Challenging
In full: I loved this race. It was tough as it was Hilly but loved running off road. If the weather had been better I bet the scenery would of been fantastic. Lovely friendly marshalls and lots of them. Very well organised. There's a lot going for this new race. free massages, pasty and at the wonderful Eden Project.
Would be great to see chip timing next year.

In short: PB potential ish
In full: Even though I didn't have a very good day. I would do this again. The laps were ok and not too hilly so you could do a good time.
But the organisers need to give the medals out at the finish and even though it's good to walk or even do a recovery run after racing, most people don't feel like it so the 1 1/2 mile walk back to the HQ was tough. Good job it was dry to do that but imagine if it was raining. Hell. Perhaps need to offer more food after too. When I got there there wasn't much left!
Overall it was ok and thanks to all the friendly marshalls who gave up their Sunday so we could run.

In short: Loved it........
In full: Loved it, the queing for the loos, logistics of getting everybody on the start line, running in the wind and rain, skating on fluid sachets, dodging flying water bottles, recieving the quirky goody bag, using a space blanket as a parachute and watching everybody trying to get out of Portsmouth while I walked past them all to the ferry.
Love it, love it. Oh yes plus I got a PB.
