In short: Ignore the first 3 reviews as they are for different races!!!
In full: Approx as tough as the JCC. Harder going as rockier partic on Days 2 and 3, and path is narrower so fewer sections to really open out and run, as at JCC - Complete concentration required all the time! 2x long 15k stages on Days 2 and 3 are v.hilly, rocky and remote - spectacular. November ensures 'big' weather to match the scenery. Not a quad killer like JCC, praps not so many downhill bits are runnable. Only one town to run thru (Fishguard, just as Weymouth for JCC). Stages nearer 27miles in length in practice. Amazing way to see Pembrokeshire. Accom provided in St.Davids excellent. Communal breakfasts/eves meal make for good atmos. Beginners prob better with the larger groups and easier path of JCC first. This is definitely one to write home about in, for most, a totally undiscovered part of the country - almost like going abroad!

In short: super big race feel - Do it
In full: don't let the negative comments put you of ftoo much, basically there's a super big race feel with lots of costumed fun runners through to fast club runners. it's a shame the logistics of such a big race make things more difficult than they have to be. much easier if you have done the race before. somehow, the sun always seems to mostly shine too.
