In short: Hardest Race I've ever done, but definitely the best!!
In full: I put extraordinary organisation. But there was one problem no fault of theirs. A farmer wasn't happy with them giving out drinks at a certain part of the run so it was a big distance for fluids at one stage. As I said no fault of the organisers.

Although It took me 3 hrs 48 mins 52 secs.
My quadriceps are killing me. The hills were very fun. I had to walk some they were impossible to run up. But very very enjoyable.

I will deffinitely try doing it again..

In short: Best views and scenary in a race so far. And great trophy at the end too.
In full: I have to say that this run is the hardest but most enjoyable run I have done yet.
The hills just kept coming then about 5k in it went down long enough to catch your breath before coming up another hill.
Its the first race I have been able to sprint the last bit too. Even though that was up a hill.
Everyone there was so nice no shortage of drinks as they were there 3times round, unusual in a 10k so I think they knew how hard it was going to be and made every necessary arangement to make it easy. I know I needed more drink as them hills just made me loose my breath.
The trophy at the end was good too.
Im getting a lot of neck hangers so it was a nice change.

In short: My First proper race, A great challenge worth doing could of done without the wind though.
In full: I have done 3-4 Race For Life 5k runs. The Victory 5 was my First paid run. I hadn't trained for two weeks due to having a virus but still managed to hit the finish line with the help of two ladies I run with Every Sunday. We stayed together all the way even at the last mile when the wind was straight in our faces holding us back when I was really running out of energy. I walked a couple of steps but managed to finish in the end feeling very proud of myself and well and truley bright red and sweaty. All in all a great race to be your first. Next goal is a 10k its not much further but every little Mile or Km is a challenge!
