In short: Very well organised, great for first timers
In full: The race again was very well organised, and the changes to the start and the course this year helped improve the event futher.
However although not fault of organisers many runners starting in wrong pens, and due to the narrow lanes for first couple of miles made overtaking dangerous for all those around. Why do not some runners realise that they are causing these dangerous situations, organisers can only do so much.
Very enjoyable race, great support, will definitley be back, and a great T shirt at end even the other half liked it.

In short: Nice course, shame about the detour
In full: This was my first time for the flying fox 10, I had been warned about the hill between 5 and 6, and was thankful for the warning, what a hill ! .

The course was challenging with enough long down hill sections to even out the undulations.

What happened to the marshall or marshalls directing people to take the final left turn to towards 9 miles and the finish i do not know. I was following one of the Motorbikes and took it as said he was going the right way. The course measured 10.1 miles in the end.

I feel if a race is to be advertised nationally then some thought should be put in to the organization , the information sent out was vague into how to get there, no real provisions was made for those entering on the day i.e pins etc.

I will be doing the race again next year, I hope things are better next year, for what is overall an enjoyable challenging race.
