In short: Great support, terrible organisation In full: Where do I start? Mud, freezing cold after handing bags in early, eventually heard an announcement that the start was delayed, but this was literally as I was making my way to the start. The race was fine, and the support and marshalls were great. Got a PB. Waited at the end for a kid to struggle to separate space blankets, queued for goody bags to be told no t shirts, no medals...for £30???? Got shouted at by another helper when I asked why there were none. No water at the finish only lucozade. Luckily my hubby finished ahead of me and had got our bag. The slow procession out of the mud bath was frightening for me, dread to think what our children thought of it. And because of the delayed start we missed our train home and had to fork out £70 for new tickets Date of review: March 17, 2008
