In short: Tremendous atmosphere, loads of drink stations, clockwork organisation
In full: Lucky enough to start from the front of the red start and with clear streets it's magic and can't recommend it highly enough. There is No excuse for finishing this race less hydrated than when you started there's a drink station just about every mile. What's not to love it's iconic.

In short: 6th time and still my favourite race, but the cars on the final run in seemed to be a problem this year.
In full: Run this race it is wonderful. The atmosphere is all whats good in running, lovely people competing and marshalling. The views are simply breathtaking. There was more cars pushing through the final straight this year than ever before which the organisers need to sort.

In short: Brilliant a wonderful loop of the lake, Borrowdale in Autumn perfect even in rubbish weather
In full: A gem of a race around the lake. It is fairly tough but the course does go down as well as up. First time doing this and it competes with the Coniston 14 as my favourite,--- no bigger accolade from me is possible.

In short: Good flat course with good support around it. A really good race
In full: A popular race because the course is pretty flat. It was also very well organised and setting off from the castle was a nice touch. A bit slow this year because of the weather but definitely will do it again.

In short: nice race on reasonably quick course.
In full: Nice trip through park and local roads. Very well organised with a generous goody bag. Only gripe (which the organisers can't be blamed for) was the complete lack of local support.
