In short: Flat/undulating-ish, Scenic-ish, well organised, fun-ish, good beginners challenge. In full: As this is a two-loop course, a half of each loop is a very gradual, lightly undulating course, leading to a flat second half of the loop. One half of the loop views the sea and coastline (mainly through trees), whilst the second half leads up through wooded roads.
If you're a beginner looking for a PB, the inclines aren't steep, but they are long and undulating, so you'll be glad you did some hillwork.
The price is fair-ish, although the medal is a cheapy (if that matters to you). Water in small cups is annoying, too. This is coastal, so check the weather conditions. Date of review: September 24, 2012

In short: The perfect distance challenge for beginners. In full: This is my favourite run. Running through the pedestrian areas in the town centre, over the flyover, around the bay area, with lots of crowd support. Amazing. I wish this could be a marathon, again, with the finish within the stadium. That would be perfect. PLEEEEEEEZ do this again? Date of review: September 13, 2012

In short: A really good first 10k race challenge. In full: With some slightly challenging undulations for people who may be relatively new to running, you'll need to do some practise runs. Nice winding track, and a really good atmosphere with people of all ages and abilities. Mutley wouldn't like it as ya don't get a medal. Not many spectators (sometimes a good thing, especially when you're gasping and dribbling). Parking was plentiful and really easy and close to the start. Llanelli Leisure Centre is closed on Sunday, it seemed (for a shower). Lots of loo's for the jittery. I loved it, and it was worth driving from Cardiff. Date of review: July 10, 2008
