In short: Very hard for a neophyte, but slick organisation In full: My first (only?) race to celebrate a year off the ciggies. This is a very tough race for a ancient beginner like me. The uphill seems relentless up to 7k, then it's downhill all the way. If all you've done is road or well-groomed grass running then you'll find the terrain hard, as the track is quite uneven in places. As for value, well value for money isn't the point for the Cancer Research 10k series. A shame that I picked up a calf injury towards the end that spoiled the finish for me.
