In short: Interesting course
In full: I always thought Bracknell to be a scenic town, but my first tour in the race was lots of underpass to go through. Nevertheless, couldn't fault the organisation and the crowds for making this a special race. The goody bag was a nice surprise to get a medal, a bag and a towel! Not a PB course but will put my name down for next year.

In short: PB potential but no fuel replacement en-route or at the end.
In full: Terrible weather to say the least and I forgot my gel packs in the car. Ran the first 10 miles on the moderately flat course which was nice in a nice PB...but as it was cold and no fuel along the course, my body broke down and I hobbled to the end freezing cold. Really wished at that point I didn't forget my gels. No banana or anything to eat at the end???!!! Just water! Felt let down on that aspect otherwise a good PB course. (No..I didn't get one)

In short: Nice day for a run...
In full: Had a great day yesterday but I do really miss that outdoor swimming pool target practice for used sport drinks to throw into like last years!! Its now a car rental? or a empty lot.

Anyone stopped for a burger that was being cooking!!

In short: Honestly the best race course of the year!!!
In full: Just joking...

1) What Queues? - About 200-300 metres long
2) 10 Toilets for 1500 odd runners? lucky I held on
3) Bang!! - What? it started??! better start running
4) water stop? Manage to grab one of the 100 plastic cup pre-filled. Don't know about the other 1400 cups to fill up by the 1 person who I felt sorry for.
5) Finish line? Oh..there it is! But it looks like a M25 traffic jam...oh dear

Highlight? Monica Galetti from Masterchef ran!

Now where are the results!

In short: Loved it
In full: Transport from the train station was good, lots of toilets, great venue. The only thing in the beginining would be some order to putting in our bags. The signs for baggage outside the tents were not clear and probably not enough ppl helping out.

All in all..I am glad the colour sections were implemented but some slow runners in the pink section! The drink stations and jelly babies were excellent but they did give out something like 5 in one go. Didn't need to be wasteful. So can understand why they ran out so quickly!

Though I had another PB and my result isn't on the list (Chip must not have been registered?), I can't complain but feel for the slower runners who did not get their reward of drinks and goodie bags.

Getting bags back was chaotic...not as bad as Heathrow baggage area though!

In short: Loved the jelly babies given away by the kind little girls
In full: That hill on mile 7 lasting 1.2miles was certainly a challenge and the support of the organisers and crowds were great! Loved the goodies bags and free entrances to LA Fitness to relieve the tired muscles.
The last 2 miles, had help on hand with 2 jelly babies :) Thank you!
