In short: Challenging but enjoyable
In full: Had a great day enjoying the scenery and wine. The weather was too hot for my fancy dress costume and my time was a PW but still throughly enjoyed the experience. A really great event. Deserves to be a "must do" race. marshalls and organisation faultless.

In short: Hard due to "undulations" but a great day out. Highly recommended
In full: Supurb organisation, a wonderful course through winding country lanes and great crowd support makes this race one of the best. Nice medal, t-shirt and goody bag. Well done HRR I hope to be back next year.

In short: A hard off road marathon not to be underestimated with excellent organisation.
In full: I enjoyed this marathon I thought the organisation and marshals were excellent. The park and route was very scenic but the hills are not to be underestimated. However it was a rewarding and personally I love laps as I find it breaks down into chunks which are psychologically easier. For those looking for something different from the city marathons this is a good bet.

In short: Great race with great organisation.
In full: This is my second time doing the Kent Coastal. It is a great race well organised with amazing marshal support all the way round. Loads of water in bottles and gels. Found it tough going but that reflects my lack of training. Will be back with a few more miles done before hand.

In short: Excellent organisation, multi-lap event
In full: I enjoyed this event the organisation was flawless. I enjoyed having my own lap counter to chat to as I passed. I personally found 40 laps quite challenging mentally but everyone was very friendly. The trophy and lottery tickets were a nice touch- as was the tape for everyone to run through at the end. I got a PW though that was to do with my lack of training recently. The course has a lovely downhill section which could make for a fast time.

In short: LOVED IT.
In full: Most of this race is on shingle path with small amounts of mud and water. The middle section was however a different story for a lot of it i could not run and only just waddled through the mud. Trail shoes helped but these some became caked in mud and became like ice skates. I will definitly be back though probably will take spikes in a backpack for middle section.

In short: A good race. Lonely in 2nd part
In full: My first small marathon. I found it all a bit of a struggle but feel that reflects more my lack of training than anything else. Marshalls did a brilliant job as were the other competitors and the atmosphere was great. Glad my family were there to support me in the last half as 20-25 miles were a real struggle.

In short: An enjoyable half with just enough to test the legs
In full: I have done this race the last few years. It is well run, marshalling and waterstations excellent. Hilly between 3-6 miles then flat to 9 miles last 3 miles downhill. Great stadium finish.

In short: Well done GVH
In full: A great training run and confidence booster for the FLM. Two steep hills and otherwise undulating. Excellent marshalls and water stops.
