In short: Great course, friendly atmosphere, big enough but not too big! Loved it!

In short: Great course, great crowds but post race chaos!
In full: The Good:
1. Well organised at the start, no need to be in your pen too long before the gun went.
2. Good, mainly picturesque course with great supportive crowds.
3. Absolutely fantastic Race Crew.
4. Finishing in front of the racecourse stand was a good touch.
5. Good T shirt and medal.

The Bad:
1. The heat! It was raining when I woke up and remained cool up until just before the start but from then on the sun just didn't relent.
2. Had to wander what seemed like miles to get from the finish to the reunion area and getting into and out of the reunion area itself was simply chaos. Only two gates open so why was a third left padlocked?

In short: Flat, well organised, interesting distance, glad I did it.
In full: Overall a very well organised race which I would do again as it's a challenging but also manageable distance. Especially impressed with the stewards and the folk helping at the water stations.

Finish was a bit of an anti climax - you seemed to turn the corner and suddenly you were done but that (and the long wait in the pens at the start) aside I thought it was a great debut.

In short: Great marshalling, very friendly crowds, even tougher hills and warm!
In full: After running my first half marathon last week (the GNR) this was almost the total opposite. A much smaller scale race, far less spectators but just as enjoyable in its own way.

Plenty of space to run your own race, excellent marshalling, who were very supportive, throughout. Friendly runners and spectators.

One more water station would have been good as the hills were very sapping but a good, well organised race.
