In short: Miserable weather but a nice race again.
In full: I understand after last year the unexpected long walk to the start that warning runners to get there on time was a good idea but asking runners to be at the start for 7:50 was EARLY - and I am glad I packed my bin bag!

The start is a bottle neck but worth it for leaving the castle - and chip times does help with that issue BUT organisers you do need to think of ideas (Pace makers?) to get people to stand in the right place. Some really slow people made the start harder than it needed to be by getting in the way.

If you are going to close the road water stations on both sides would be a nice thing to consided although the helpers here were great.

Nice route and cheerful marshals, finish was a bottle neck and needs to be though about (I think I said the same thing last year!) For the sprint finish it was hard to overtake and kick.

Overall loved it, but could we have a different medal next year rather than a different coloured ribbon?

In short: A well organised friendly race - perfect for beginner and more experienced runners alike.
In full: First I would like to appologies to those who saw me regurgitate my breakfast just after the 2km... I blame Stitch and eating to near race time rather than the race itself.

Good crowds around parts of the course - was a shame that they didn't clap much.

Took a while to get to the start of the race - my guess being the route that Warwick Castle wanted you to take. Nice warm up (was this a new feature) if not my cup of tea.

The start was a little hurried - I feel a few people may have not been lined up due to the rush but chip timings will sort out those issue.

It is just as hilly as last year despite the minor changes to the route - an additional water station was much welcomed.

Not sure I liked the finish as much as last year, but very efficient and love the new medal design!

If the organisers of the race read this - Please pass on my thanks to your volenteers and is it possible that next year we have a texted finish time?

In short: MENTAL - Running round in the dark in costumes with GHOSTS jumping out at you. - It doesn't get any better.
In full: I turned up on a whim - after doing last weeks Coventry Half Marathon.

Easy to enter on the day or should that be night - by candle light...

It is pretty much as described a hilly course over lots of different surfaces and even a style - all covered by moon light. The route was cleverly lit by glow sticks, with many creepy additions to add fright. That and marshals dressed as ghosts jumping out at you made this a frighten race.

Most runners entered into the spirit and got into costume, Scooby Doo and gang - minus the green bus, what a running team but how can you move that fast in cords I will never know.

What a shame they didn't get nearer the 500 mark as it was a really good race that deserved a better turn out. Please do it again next year - I for one will be there - although I might not wear a mask again!

In short: A few horrible hilly bits but still a fun race. Well organised good water points and plenty of marshalls.
In full: I think the organisers looked over the city to find the hills and then routed the race to hit them all!

In parts there were very few spectators - from about 8.5 miles to 9.5 miles along the Coventry (A429) it was a very straight run - but so few spectators! - It was a bit bleak.

The old lady supporter with the chocolate was a gem - as were the Haribo girls. Those are the spectators you need.

Enjoyed the race though and lovely medal at the end.

In short: Wet it may have been, but well organised and nice to start from Warwick castle. Sill a hilly race!
In full: Poured with rain at the start - Noah was building an arc for the ford in Kenilworth as a standby.

Well marshalled at the start to filter people out of Warwick Castle safely. There are a lot of hills in this race but they pass nicely.

In short: Well organised and friendly - But Hilly.
In full: The website was helpful and informative from the start - and e-mail to inform me when the race was open for application. Good positioning of water stations and on route supporters and cheerful marshalls.

My first ever 10K run but it won't be my last, I will return next year.
