In short: Enjoyable race In full: Enjoyed this race this year again, and once again it was another warm day. Agree with others regarding the relay runners, they could do with learning some marathon etiquette! Could have started the marathon at 8am, would have been better! Will be back again next year. In full: i have to say that i didn't experience any of the water probs on sunday and don't use gels therefore wasn't looking for them at mile 19. i thought the organisers did a good job and the public were fantasic. however if people did not have enough water then the organisers should look at this and possibly restict the amount given to the relay runners as i say several bottles thrown away with only a sip thrown out of them. for all those people who have compained about the organisation i would suggest you run belfast next may and see just how badly a race can be organised. i for one will be booking my flight over for next year. In short: needs better organisation In full: as has been said before drinks stations a real prob..small cups of water from a stand pipe. not enough energy drinks so you have to carry your own..and queuing at 21miles as they give relay runners one mile into their jog powerade! start hampered by letting walkers stand at the start line it really is just a relay race with preference given to them but will do it again as it is my local!
