In short: Organised, friendly early morning race, great support and mementoo
In full: My second time to the swinton half and I enjoyed it just as much as last year, very good marshalling, all major cross roads were heavily marshalled so you could concentrate on running - thank you for a good safe race. yes people moan about the dull scenery but this is the main route into Manchester! Hey and there are fields with horses at the half way point and again at mile 11 what more do you want?? Excellent momento very much appreciated. Looking forward to next year, thanks again Swinton :o)

In short: My first half and thoroughly enjoyed it
In full: Yes its a town race - but so what its Manchester and the scenery is well - Manchester! 3 mile first loop was a killer going over the same ground twice but once that was done the final ten mile loop to the finish was undualting with a good 3 mile flat run into the beautiful Victoria Park finish. Excellent marshalls and organisation was faultless. Excellent memento - ive been to show it off this afternoon. Well done Swinton !
