In short: Good value pre-london marathon training race
In full: A well organized race run by Clapham Chasers, the pacing group will help with your pace for a marathon. Worth the money and the cake at the end was a nice touch !

In short: Puts Reading on the map!
In full: Really good race, few problems at the start which could be improved. Crowd around the course and in the stadium were just awesome, why runners need headphones I do not know. Those with headphones on are missing out BIG TIME ! Enjoyed my beer at the Nags Head on Russell Street and still managed a PB !

In short: A great race organised by the Bedford Harriers
In full: A really nice race, good mix of abilities and a great race to finish the year. There were lots of marshalls at the start and all the way around the course who were very supportive, so thanks goes out to you. A couple of up hill sections and a great down hill at 9 ish miles. I will try and do this again at some point as I was impressed with the whole feel of this race.

In short: Worth the trip to Suffolk
In full: Really nice race, great course through the park, town and out into the countryside. Marshalls were fantastic, as were the supporters. Liked the finish at the School sports track. Would do it again.

In short: Total Rubbish, the worst value for money ever !!
In full: £45 for what !! Very poor, not many marshall's, rubbish finish for runners and spectators, crap goodie bag, not enough people handing goodie bags out, bland medal with no date, long walk to meet and greet area, long walk to park and ride and then a massive que for the buses. The route was bland in places, a race I will be leaving off my calender !!

In short: Reading Half 2011 what a great race.
In full: Reading is my local race and the one that got me into running. This year was the best I have run in, the support around the course was fantastic, so many peple turned out to make it a great race to be a part of.

Really good mix of runners, so if you are thinking its not for you think again !!

In short: Great value, with superb marshalls and goody bag !!
In full: First time for me running the Gosport Half, not the most scenic of courses. This however is my only negative. The course is quick and flat and ideal for PB setters and those taking on their first half marathon. would I do it again ? YES. The marshalls were great, very supportive to all and helpfull pre-race. The goody bag was great value, not sure how they do it when tsI only £14/£16 to enter !! I will be back again next year for sure.
