In short: As always, fantastic organisation, marshalling and lots of fun - albeit muddy! Very generous raffle prizes and lots of laughs. A big thank you to all the marshalls and supporters Date of review: December 10, 2012

In full: A really well organised event, from start to finish, the facilities were superb, marshalls fantastic and the public amazing standing out in the rain cheering us on. To top it off Dame Kelly Homes was here for us at the start and finish. Only down side was at the prize giving there were no awards given out for 2nd and 3rd place prizes beyond age 45, it seems a pity as us older runners matter too! Date of review: September 24, 2012

In full: once again a really well organised race by Thanet Road Runners, lovely location for the start, fantastic support from all the marshalls, and so many of them! A big thank to you all. I would agree with the other comments and feel it is more undulating/hilly than flat!. Only down side - needed more portaloos. Date of review: September 3, 2012

In full: Lovely location, however, expensive to park and go to the loo! To cap it all the race was short 5.87 by my Garmin, and having spoken to others after the race they all said the same.(I also understand this is not the first time the route has been short) This really is bad news, I had nominated it as one of my Club Champs races, which will now be null and void. Really frustrating as I was on course to beat my previous PB. Also when I questioned the distance with one of the race organisers they really did not seem to be bothered and just said that she thought one of the signs had been taken down! Such a shame as it could have been such a lovely race, it will not grow unless they get the simple things right - like the distance!! Date of review: August 29, 2012

In short: challenging but a must for your diary In full: Fantastic, challenging well organised race. As many have already mentioned, excellent pre race information, friendly and encouraging marshalls, ample supply of drinks, jelly babies and orange segments en route. Excellent post race cakes beer etc. Only a couple of negatives, toilets in school leave alot to be desired! The Snack Van at the HQ at the end seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of people that wanted a cup of tea after running 15 miles! maybe he should have had to urns heating up water! In short: challenging course but well worth it good marshalling and spectators thankss to all In full: only critiisim at the finish had to find the person giving out the medals - why could these not have been handed out with goody bag, also did not see anyone handing out T shirts so left without one!. The medal however was very impressive. Date of review: February 15, 2009
