In short: Very good city Half Marathon - Great Potential In full: Many people have critised the race this year, so I am quite sure they won't agree with me, but here goes. - Good and accurate mile markers - I saw every one of them and have my split times to prove it. Water - 3 water stops along the way - and i did not count the one at 2 miles as when i passed it they were not offering the water. Course, PB potential, in fact I ran my second fastest time ever on a Liverpool course. Sure, you would need to be in good shape and be prepared for the course but thats the same with any race when you want a PB isn't it? First 5 miles were very fast, so its a case of going through 5 miles relaxed and then picking it up. No race t shirt, but do we really need one, I just put 40 old race t shirts in the charity clothing collection bin on tesco's car park! Medal - really very nice. Trophies - again, really nice. Would i do it again, yes, could it be improved, well I guess if could from other comments but I have ran far harder half marathons without this much water in hotter conditions.
