In short: Classic tough XC
In full: Lots of mud after heavy recent rainfall and some stamina testing hills. Highly recommended! Watch out for the cut off of 45 minutes for the first five miles.

In short: Lovely, friendly low key local marathon, total contrast to the big city events. I'm glad I did it.
