In short: Torture.......for me anyway!!
In full: Only my third 10K since taking up running 9 months ago and I found it tough going,a combination of the heat and the tunnel incline. It's true when people say it's not that steep but I think it does affect you later in the race.Good atmosphere at the end and decent support,nice medal and t-shirt and a free train back to Liverpool,couldn't have asked for more. See you next year!

In short: Good beginners race.
In full: This was my first organised run so obviously I haven't got anything to compare it with,but it was very enjoyable overall. Good turn out for what was a freezing cold morning. I could complain about the parking,the course being a bit icy in places and the goody bags.....but I won't,just as long as these minor issues are ironed out next year. Be prepared for a tough (for a novice anyway) little incline just after 3 and 8k. Good support from spectators as well.
