In short: Great race but some evil hills In full: Fantastically organised race with a good mix of town and country. Marshalls excellent and a good smattering of supporters throughout. Lovely finish on the running track and there is a very long hill about 8 miles in and an evil steep one at 10.5 miles. Quite a lot of sharp turns at some points which break up your flow but overall a super race. Date of review: August 30, 2010

In short: Great Beer! In full: Lovely local race, well organised and very friendly. Enjoyed the bottle of Adnams beer from the goody bag and got probably the best race photo I have ever had. It was very windy, especially going up the hills but I still managed a new PB so the course can't be too hard. Date of review: August 19, 2010

In short: Great race but would prefer a single lap course In full: Great organisation extended to stopping the heavy rain just before the start. A lovely course but with very few (and very quiet) spectators. Personally I would much prefer a one lap race as I dislike running over the same ground twice. Would be nice to try a city centre half in Norwich as the city is really lovely (might be more spectators too). Date of review: January 24, 2010

In short: NIce race, shame about the hideous medal (and no good bag!) In full: Re-scheduled for the 24th January due to snow on New Years Day. Course was very muddy in places but the marshals were once again really good. The start/finish line needs to be marked better as it's not obvious where it is which makes it difficult to know when to start your watch. No goody bag this year which was a bit disappointing and the orange 'running pint' medal is absolutely hideous, a great shame as the 2009 medal was really nice. Date of review: January 24, 2010
